MARRCH at a Glance

MARRCH is a professional association that exists to be the collective voice for members providing the continuum of chemical health services in Minnesota.

MARRCH Bylaws

Membership Details

  • Over 1,000 individual members and 50 agency members
  • Open to all professionals in the chemical health field
  • Annual membership dues; new members may join at any time, and membership will be effective for a full year

Principal Activities

  • Publish One Voice, an award-winning newsletter that is printed quarterly, with e-mail updates in the intervening months
  • Provide professional recognition at a statewide level
  • Educate and train chemical health professionals
  • Monitor administrative activities and the legislature

Management Structure

  • Association leadership is provided by a 16-member volunteer board from the membership. Leadership development is also available through our committees.

Major Conferences

  • Fall Conference: Our largest annual meeting with approximately 1,000 chemical health professionals in attendance
  • Spring Conference: Participants enjoy fellowship and relaxation as well as earn continuing education credits
  • Public Policy Meeting: Held during the heart of the legislative session

Strategic Goals

  • Provide one strong voice for chemical health professionals and agencies at the legislature
  • Provide renewed energy to shape our professional future
  • Provide exceptional training for chemical health professionals
  • Improve treatment quality for those who develop a problem
  • Protect communities from the harm and cost of untreated chemical abuse and addiction
